LA FESTA DELS SÚPERS: ON TOUR

FESTA DELS SÚPERS (in English “Party of the Supers”) is a festival of music and fun, considered the largest children’s event in Europe, filling the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium in Barcelona to capacity some years, with a record 420,000 people in one weekend. A “Super” is the name given to the children members of this Spanish children’s community called Club Súper3, created by the TV channel Televisió de Catalunya (TV3). This macro event offers numerous recreational and educational shows and activities around the stadium during a weekend, and the main show stars the leading characters of the TV channel: The Super3 Family, and their dancer friends. This is a family musical show broadcasted live on the TV3 channel, that is performed every year with a different theme following the story of the episodes that are broadcast on television, using original songs from the TV channel itself. The 22nd edition was entitled “On Tour”, as for the first time this event changed its usual format and was held in different large cities in Catalonia: Sant Jordi Club Stadium (Barcelona, Spain) and Tarraco Arena (Tarragona, Spain), among others.
